Somehow, even the unboxing process of this chair oozes premium. The packaging is very well done; has protective inserts and padding. There are also covers that help ensure items don’t get scratched. Some of the parts inside the box include chair components, instruction manual, and assembly tools.
When I removed the covering from the main chair section, I was fascinated by the cool green color scheme. I’m not even a huge fan of green, but this green is a green that feels more natural than artificial, even though it is artificial because it’s on the nappa leather chair. My team and I take turns using this chair because it’s unique. So far, we all think it’s very comfortable, even for those who sit at a desk and work all day without getting up (unless necessary). The lumbar support minimizes the back pressure we occasionally feel in other chairs, even other ergonomic chairs. And, unlike other ergonomic chairs, this one feels sturdy, like you’re surrounded, but instead of causing claustrophobia, it makes you feel safe, like the chair won’t fall apart or break. any way. The Serene has easy height and tilt adjustments, but that’s about it in terms of customization.
I should have realized that I would miss the adjustable armrests. The armrests on the Eureka Serene are not adjustable – they stay put. Granted, they’re lovely, comfortable armrests that even stay in the right place 85% of the time. Still, for those odd 15 percent of the time, I miss not being able to quickly adjust the armrests of my chair to achieve maximum comfort for whatever task I was performing or position I was in at the time.
